Emails have taken center stage in official communications. Almost all routine transactions take place through emails only. However, we enter our email addresses on various websites and portals, which calls for spam messages. But iMac OS has been adequately optimized to meet users’ needs and requirements.

One such feature in this direction is smart Mac Mails that can organize your emails in the desired order of preference. Step 1:

Click on the Mac home button and look for the mail app. In the application, click on the “Mailbox” button. From the drop-down section, select the “New Smart Mailbox” option to proceed.

Step 2:

Upon clicking on the “New Smart Mailbox” option, you will see an empty text box. The text box is to name your folder. Choose a name according to the email category you want to receive in it. So, if you want to create a folder for business use, you can name it “Official.”

Step 3:

After naming the folder in the dialog box, you will have to choose filtration criteria. In the first pop-menu, from left to right, you can choose the sender’s condition. For example, you can choose your sender to be from within the group or a specified sender’s list.

Next, you can choose the nature of the email by specifying the subject. For example, you can specify a keyword with which an email should start. You can further narrow down this filter by specifying a few keywords, which must be present in the body.

Step 4:

Mac Mail also provides an option to add or remove conditions. You can use this option to create a better filtration process according to your specific needs and requirements.

Step 5:

Once you have set all the filtration conditions for the folder, look for the scope of conditions option. Here you can define the nature of compliance for the emails you want to receive for the folder.

For example, you can choose an option where all criteria must be met, or you can choose an option where some of the minimum conditions are necessary to put an email in the folder. Therefore, choose the scope of conditions according to your specific needs and requirements.

Step 6:

Lastly, at the end of the folder creation dialog box, you will see an option to include messages from bins and Sent Mailbox. Click on these icons if you want to assort all kinds of similar transactions in one place.

Conclusion

Mac mail is a handy feature on Apple devices. It allows you to organize your messages in whatever filter you want. Additionally, the feature to add sent messages in the same folder provides convenience in tracking a transaction.

Efficient use of Mac Mail will ensure articulate management of transactions. Further, you will be able to protect your business emails from unwarranted spam. Hope you learn the basic operating procedure of the Mac Mail from this article.
