I am big fan of whatsapp as like millions of other out there. Along with personal chat we can create or join groups that is one of the best feature provided by whatsapp. I have joined more than 20 groups. but not getting much time to enjoy the group chat with friends, because of blogging and part-time job. I hate one thing in whatsapp when i am in work is that its notification system. i am receiving messages, videos, photos, continuously via whatsapp groups with its notification alert tone. at the same time I could not concentrate on my work.

I am using Samsung galaxy grand quattro and found the option of disabling whatsapp group notifications in status bar and even from notification menu.
If you have same issue with your whatsapp, you can turn off whatsapp group notifications as well. just follow the simple procedure below to know, how you can turn off whatsapp group notifications.

Here are steps that will help you to turn off whatsapp or any useless application notifications right from your android phone.
Go to settings > Application manager > Select WhatsApp > Uncheck “Show Notification” option. ( for more details, check the screenshot below)
That’s all.
From now you will no longer receive notifications from WhatsApp groups. If you want to stop receiving notification from any other useless apps then procedure would be same if you are using Android Jelly Bean.
