RIP comes from a Latin word which means “Requiescat in pace” which is translated as ‘Rest in Peace’. The actual meaning of the idiom is to wish rest and peace to a dead person. The phrase “rest and peace to a dead person” means ‘afterlife’; it is another name for Hell and Heaven, where a person gets the ‘eternal peace’.
But sometimes, people are not comfortable to wish RIP; hence, they want to use some other words in which they are comfortable with. Therefore, we have brought some other ways to wish the same. So here we go.
