In India, Navratri is a festival of the Hindus. It is celebrated for nine nights and ten days five times a year. The most celebrated Navratri is the Sharada Navratri which falls during the autumn every year. The rest of the Navratris are Vasanta Navratri, Magha Navratri, Ashada Navratri and Pausha Navratri. This festival is a celebration of power i.e. Shakti and has a deep religious significance. It is observed in the honor of the divine Goddess Durga. The celebration is magnificent and auspicious.
